One of criminal law’s foremost female lawyers, Mai Pham has been practising law for over 20 years. Mai is a graduate from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce. Mai was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia in 1999.
Mai’s passion and expertise for criminal, family law is evident in the extraordinary outcomes she achieves for her clients. Her compassion and empathy for her clients’ personal circumstances are partnered with her inimitable memory for facts and law. She is our strategy queen.
Mai is also an extremely competent gardener which is apparent upon entering the AKN & Associates office. In her spare time, she enjoys meditation.
Cheryl Khurana is a graduate of Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia in 2014. Cheryl is a registered migration agent and passionate criminal, family and immigration lawyer. Her favourite legal challenge is exercising all those passions in the one matter (which has actually happened many times).
Cheryl is a legal gun, who is also empathetic and compassionate. In her spare time, she is a Bollywood princess and has a cavoodle for a baby.
Katrina Beltran holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Design majoring in Visual Communications from the University of Technology Sydney. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia in 2016. Katrina’s creativity and innovation allows her to approach criminal, family and civil matters with a balanced blend of logic and unconventional thinking which often leads to fantastic outcomes for her clients. A gentle yet honest communicator who understands her clients’ situations, she has loads of empathy.
In her spare time, she paints, gardens, loiters near the ocean, and teaches people how to love and play music.
Anna Vu is a graduate of Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia in 2018. Anna's compassion for her clients and practical approach to the law makes her an ideal practitioner in the areas of criminal, personal injury and civil law. A forthright and bilingual communicator, Anna has a calm demeanour and a will of iron for all your matters.
In her spare time, she loves yoga, gardening and travel.
Philip Vo graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2017. Philip is meticulous in his work and has excellent attention to detail. Caring and compassionate, Philip always gives 100% of his time and effort to his clients. He is a charismatic negotiator and strives to build interpersonal relationships with his peers, colleagues and clients. Philip's focused areas of practice include criminal, property, civil and probate.
Philip is an active person who leads a very healthy lifestyle. In his free time, he enjoys going to the gym and jogging.
